Welcome to the secret order of Kinman. We're still working on the handshake. (The last one had some hygenic issues....)
    WHY? 'n' stuff

Yeah, we're still workin' on that. Secret societies are quite a hoot.

Yeah, I knew there was a reason why I don't have Kinmans.

It's either because of the handshake without a rubber glove...

... or 'cuz the last set I was offered had been chewed by a dog!

    And that's the truth.

OK, got me AVn-59!!! Oboy!!! Thing is, I must admit my novice stature in all this. I had my Jag rewired awhile ago by an absloute BOOB who apparently couldn't find wiring diagrams anywhere. (We didn't get along too well after I went to his orfice with the diagram I got off the web..."uhhhh, like THIS one???...".
Anyway, right now all the switches are bypassed so that I just have one toggle switch that works the bridge/neck pups.
I think this may have an obvious answer, but being that I want this done right with all the switches in place, should I even TRY this myself? Note my first statement.

On one hand I'm dying to get this working, but even more so do I want this done right for the long haul. Any comments, as always, would be greatly appreciated.....Mike C.

Well, if you're good at soldering and following basic wiring diagrams, then you can do it yourself. Really, wiring up a guitar is not a difficult thing. I've been doing it for a long time. But if you're nervous about it, you should just take it to a qualified tech, and have it done right the first time. The trick is to find a qualified tech, every shop is going to tell you they've got a great one. A good tech would take any diagram you brought in, evaluate it, discuss it with you and then probably make other suggestions that he has learned in the past. Then you can come to an agreement and rest assured it will be what you want when you get it back. I'll repeat myself though, the trick is to find a Qualified Tech. Ask around in the guitar community in your area and try to find a Guitar Guru.

Yeah, thanks. I've been doing that already, to a degree. I figure it's WAY worth it to me in the long run to take my time with this baby and spend the few xtree bucks and hours to di it right. :D
