    Default Eagle guitar

My wife and I went to the south side of town today and there's a music bazaar (or maybe "music bizarre" :) ) there, it's like an outdoor market thing, about 3 blocks of tables and tents, swapmeet style, but all music stuff. Mics, guitars, cymbals, you name it. One booth had an interesting guitar, it said Eagle on the headstock, it was a semi-Les Paul copy but very slightly different shape. The body was also a bit deeper, the fingerboard had a tree of life inlay, the peghead face had fancy inlays, and the whole guitar had abalone inlay in the edge binding. It had a set neck and quilted maple top. It weighed a ton, like a Les Paul, maybe a pound or two more. Two humbucking p.u. and gold hardware. It appearred to be quite well made. I couldn't find a "made in ____" anywhere on it. The seller said he thought it was made in Japan. There's an Eagle guitars website online, but they don't have much info and don't show this model. It has some belt-buckly rash, hard to guess how old. Anyone know anything about it?

The Eagle was a Spaniard explorer from many hundred years ago.

This member has decided not to have a signature 'n stuff. No need for one 'n stuff. I don't need a silly quote to say who I am 'n stuff.

I wonder if they actually build the guitars there or have someone like Samick build them for them?
