    I haven't seen any talk of mustang's.

    Funny, you should ask. I just scanned these in today. This is my '65 Mustang, still play it and sounds great.

    who did your artwork? was that a humbucker in the bridge pu?

    The sister of the drummer in my first band was an NYU art student. She painted my Mustang and my rhythm guitarist's SG.

    The bridge pup died a couple of years ago, so I put in a SD JB Jr.

    It looks great. How long have you had it? I'm building a '65 from scratch. I can't decide on a color. It'll be my 1st American fender (I can't afford to buy one all at once).

    I bought it new in '65. That was my first electric. I'm an old geezer you know.

    I can't believe more people don't have one of these (until I can afford a vintage strat/tele) guitars.

    DANGERINE49, Thats a great ax ! the music store where roys works out of has one for sale in there other location, i believe its a 1976 mustang in natural swomp ash color, but roy told me that it needs fret work , its real nice like yours .Ive been thinking about buying it , i think they want 5 or 6 hondred for it im not sure ,but i went and played it i would love to buy it and put new frets and pups in it

    that was a pretty cool site, there isn't much out there on mustangs. although i own a strat, i found fendertalk looking for info for my mustang i'm building.
