Crate makes guitars too. I bet they're both worth less than the sum of their parts.
    WHY? 'n' stuff

I'll bet those Lego guitars are better!

I'd like a chocolate-flavoured guitar. Does anybody make one of those?

Ugh. That is just wrong. Selling a totally lousy guitar does not promote our favorite hobby/profession/art. Nothing is gonna convince a young player to quit quicker than trying to play on a guitar fit for the scrap heap.

Yeah and in that pic the body looks ok but when you see it in real life it looks horrible, it doesn't even look like a Strat. :x The action was sooooooo bad, it just can't get any worse than that. Sounds were ok and actually it wasn't that bad with light distortion but if you had more gain than 4 it started to hum really badly and the feedback was awful. And the maple they had used for neck and fretboard looked dirty and terrible. Worst piece of maple I've ever seen!

But hey what can you expect. :) The whole package cost like 110 euros for him and the amp probably cost like 40% of the total value of the package so I guess you could say the guitar cost 60 euros. :)

I can’t remember what manufacture said this, but I remember something like:

“The challenge is not how to make a good guitar for $2,000. The challenge is how to make a good guitar for $200.”

    Food for thought…
