    Default I'm Astounded!

After checking out Eric Gales this week, I came across DV Mark guitar amps and ended-up with DV Mark 50 MkII mini head.

Now, I'm a tube amp guy like the rest but I'm totally astounded at the tone and feel of this amp.

Sure, it's solid state and no bigger than the size of a car radio but the tone and volume this thing puts out is nothing short of remarkable. The noise floor is incredibly low, the built-in reverb is fantastic and the sweep of the EQ covers a wide spectrum. It takes pedals very well AND the price is very affordable!

In fact, it's totally turned my preconceptions of solid state guitar amps upside down!

I'm a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.

I hear Frank Gambale uses them too, and I imagine he's quite a stickler for tone. I think SS technology is getting a whole lot better. I'd love to get a more detailed review from you after you've had a chance to use it for a while.
