Default Conversation with Don Randall about Fender's early days

I just read this on a link from Reverb.com, and it is a very good read. I thought you guys might enjoy reading about Leo Fender from Don Randall's perspective.

Some contend that rock 'n roll is bad for the body & bad for the soul
Bad for the heart, bad for the mind, bad for the deaf & bad for the blind.
It makes some men crazy and they talk like fools.
Makes some men crazy and they start to drool.

    Most excellent!

That was a fantastic read! It's funny because I had always thought of Leo as a quiet, humble man - I guess I got the quiet part right!

Then again, the guy who invented the Strat has nothing to be humble about!

Great read! The factory tour video was incredible and really puts things into perspective. Such a far cry from (what I imagine) the factory is like today. Incredible.
