    Default amp for rehearsal room

I am tired of carrying my DDRI to our rehearsal room and back home so I am lookin for a reasonably priced Fender amp

I ve seen two interesting offers around the 500-600 EUR mark, 1 Hot Rod Deluxe (USA) and 1 Blues Deville 410 (Mexico).
I havenīt played neither of those to be honest.

I do not care about weight or height nor the dirt channel, I just care about good clean sounds (and I do prefer the tweed look of the 410 to be honest..)

    Which one would you prefer?

Both of those amps deliver great Fender "clean" sounds with lots of headroom, and both are built quite well.
Some contend that rock 'n roll is bad for the body & bad for the soul
Bad for the heart, bad for the mind, bad for the deaf & bad for the blind.
It makes some men crazy and they talk like fools.

    There's something special about a 4-10"...

Whether you think you can...or you can't...you're right!

Some mistakes are just too much fun to only make once!!!

Have you considered the Blues Deluxe?

It will be a closer tone match to the DRRI and is available in tweed of course.

All of the Hot Rod amps suffer from heat dissipation issues and capacitor leakage. At the very least, I would have the two ceramic power resistors in the switching circuit replaced with resistors mounted high off the main circuit board to prevent (inevitable) problems in the future.

I'm a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.
