    Default Fake or real ?

Just wondered if anyone could confirm if this is a real 1999 USA Fender Telecaster. Just not sure about the headstock and can't find the serial number listed anywhere?

Hi. Itís a 1991-1992 American Standard. Neck, tuners, bridge and case all look original the best I can tell from the pics you posted. Body could be confirmed by looking inside and Iím guessing the pickguard has been changed. Pickguard was probably white. The case itís laying in looks original, not the case in the first two pics is what I meant.

1999. I can't seem to edit my typo in the first reply. I'm locked out. Nonetheless it is a 1999-2000 model neck serial number.

Thanks, it was just the layout for the headstock decal with the serial number on the front that I hadn't seen on other images I had found online.

Yes, it does look the pickguard is after-market, but thats OK.

Looks like the real deal to me also. Ditto previous comments about the pickguard. Nice guitar.

If she were mine I'd put a genuine Fender tort guard on there.
I'm a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.
