How do you post a picture form your PC? It seems that the Insert Pic Icon only allows you to post from a URL.

Ibanez GB12
Hopefully the pics will attach.
The story behind this guitar is the I had bought an Ibanez GB10 back in the mid 70's as George Benson was "the" guitar player at the time with is hit Breezin on the radio constantly. I played that guitar professionally for about 10 years. My career started to take off and I moved out of the area and left the music scene behind. I ended up trading that guitar for a motorcycle a few years later and really stopped playing altogether. So I'm in a guitar shop while on vacation in a northern Michigan city and find this GB12 on consignment for 1/2 the price it was worth. Long story short I bought it and had it for years. The day came where we would part and I posted these pictures on the Ibanez Collectors web site and got a response from a guy from Brazil. He was flying to Europe and then to the States afterwards. He ended up flying to Flint (my hometown airport) to purchase it. I met him at the airport terminal, exchanged money and guitar and it was gone. Who knows where this guitar is now but it was a beauty.gb12-1.jpggb12-2.jpg

I always thought the burst on the pickguard was a very cool contribution! I was rabid for all of Benson's recordings back then, as well as much of the CTI catalog.

We have all let some good ones get away.

Stable of Guitars
Hi guys, just took a pic of each that I currently have. I must say that these have cured my GAS for quite some time now and believe that this is the final line up.
A Firebird clone, Ovation Elite with a custom Walnut top, a slightly modded Tele Deluxe 72 Reissue. The Strat has SD Rails with a replacement ebony neck, the Tele now have SD pups and replacement ebony neck, , (next panel) the green Gretsch is a Brian Setzer 6120, Ibanez AS83 with SD pups and violin finish.Last edited by Rich724; 12-27-2017 at 01:48 PM.

Shouldn't have a problem finding great tones with those beauties!
