Default New American Standard P. Bass

I recently purchased a new American Standard P.Bass and love it. They are making them the way they used to again. When I was a bit younger I traded a 1966 P Bass for an Alembic bass. I was happy with it until my wife purchased me a Mexican P.Bass for my birthday. It smoked the Alembic, just blew it away. I quickly traded the Alembic for another P.Bass and havent looked back. Just wanted to share this tale with anyone considering trading in their old Fender for something else. DONT DO IT!

Couldn't agree more - DON'T SELL ANY GEAR, unless you truly cannot stand playing it! Even then, give it a couple of years before you decide...

Thus endeth the lesson for today.

Default New American Standard P. Bass

The new American series instruments are heavenly! The fretwork alone is worth the price of admission. And the Mexican models take my breath away too.I've yet to try an F.M.I.C. product that couldn't cost considerably more and still be great value.

    Go for it, 408shaw!
Some contend that rock 'n roll is bad for the body & bad for the soul
Bad for the heart, bad for the mind, bad for the deaf & bad for the blind.
It makes some men crazy and they talk like fools.

That is the plan. It may be a couple of weeks though.
