Ill check my eyes appealed to this auction though. Much appreciated. :)
I know it's not a rosewood neck but you could sell the maple neck and get the appropriate rosewood from some like Stratosphere. You will spend a few more bucks that way but then you will have what you want.
I'm not sayin' that, I'm just sayin'......

When I bought my AmStd Strat that is the colour I chose and I still think it looks great with the MOP pg.
I did not know they discontinued the colour.

I agree with ya & was thinking similar along those lines as well. Thanks for the tip on stratosphere. I wasnt aware of that.

I actually found a few tele necks on a local CL ad in my area yesterday. Nothing of interest or desire but at least I know theyre on there.

I messaged the seller to see if he wanted to do a buy it now price on the auction instead of waiting. I see he is from GA though and probably is evacuated due to the hurricane. If no response then Ill just wait it out and see what happens bid wise. The body looks flawless. Exactly what Im looking for. :)

I found 2 NOS bodies on there as well. Both over the UK though. One ended in GBP $128 which turns out to be near $170 USD. I wished I couldve been online when it ended. That would been sweet. Squire body price for a USA body. :)
The other seller wants near $400 USD for his. Im just not ready to do that as I think its going to cost well over $1k with the neck, case and all other goodies needed. Ill never get all my $ back out if I decided to sell later on.

You're right though this may cost a bit more, maybe break even but I will cut the wait time/search time and get exactly what Im after. I think it would be cheaper than building one too.

What? Break even? These are guitars we're talkin' about here, right? It's an expensive hobby where we get to spank planks and make noise! Enjoy the ride.
