    Default Straight up gold pimpin'!

So this has been a side project/labor of love for a while and I recently scored some not-so common bits.

The plate does away with the micro tilt hole, but I did away with the screw ages ago in favor of a full contact shim. I gave up on the bridge plate a ways back and stumbled across one Sunday. BAM! I never understood why this wasn't offered as at least an FSR model. The sweet Montego Black paint just cries for gold hardware!

I refinished the back of the neck with tung oil, added a Callaham block, Callaham bent stainless saddles, topped it off with a Gilmour bend trem bar and she's been perfect ever since. Unfortunately, the AD line hasn't been the easiest to find gold parts for.. until recently.

It adds such a classy touch. The last remaining thing I need is still those damn single coil adjustment screws; the noiseless pickups don't use the same thread pitch as Fender's other single coils. Might be a good excuse to throw some Duncan's in some day when I feel like tangling with that Smoot1 switching nonsense! Thanks for looking, I welcome your comments!

Thanks fellas! I've been hooked on bare necks with just a little tung oil forever. Even matte finishes mostly feel like pine tar.
