    Default '72 Telecaster Thinline recommendations

Hi all. Long-time lurker, and first time poster!

I've decided my next guitar will be a '72 Telecaster Thinline. Do you think the MIM model is worth the price difference over the MII model? I think I'd rather have the MC neck on the MII model over the U neck on the MIM model, but I'm wondering how easy it would be to replace the neck on the MIM model (vintage 3-screw style)? Can anyone confirm whether or not these 2 have the same pickups? I typically buy MIA models, but since those aren't available right now in new form, I'm struggling with which to buy. What else should I consider in comparing these 2 guitars? Thanks!

Mexican Fenders typically have better electronics than Squiers, so I'd be surprised if they have the same pickups.

Edge finish on the necks is a lot different too. Switching necks comes down to heel width of the neck and body.
Whether you think you can...or you can't...you're right!

Some mistakes are just too much fun to only make once!!!
