    Default Professional in Sienna Burst

My brother-in-law requested my recommendations for a gift for his son on his 21st birthday. I brought over a couple of Strats and a Tele for him to play to see how he liked them. He liked both but seemed to like my Am Deluxe Strat the best. I happen to concur with that decision.

My brother-in-law called me from a local Guitar Center last night, and I told him to look for an American model in Sienna Burst (my favorite Fender finish). He came home with one of these:

"But I don't want to go among mad people" Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat, "We're all mad here 'n stuff."

I love that burst and am about to spray one on a new project. How's the Japanese Maple doing?

Looking forward to seeing how that project turns out.

The JM is doing great, thanks. I sprinkled a few more around my front and back yards!!

I like that burst when it's dark enough at the edge, like that one above. Lucky guy!

Beautiful, and I agree it's the best burst finish going. Thats a gorgeous turn of grain in that Ash, too. I need some Sienna in my life!

I got to see it and play it in person last night. Very nice playing neck and the finish is really outstanding. The grain isn't quite as nice as what's in the above picture but very pretty nonetheless. Fender did a nice job of grain matching. Looks like a one piece body. It came in a new Fender case in black composite that I never saw before. Looks bullet proof.
