So far so good. Just brought my son down to Miami for his first semester, though, and I'm not liking the looks of that Hurricane Irma. Got friends in Antigua as well. I'm worried about how life is treating other people.

I hear that. After Texas last week, it makes you think.
Whether you think you can...or you can't...you're right!

True dat. Ain't no way to delay that trouble coming every day.
Some contend that rock 'n roll is bad for the body & bad for the soul
Bad for the heart, bad for the mind, bad for the deaf & bad for the blind.
It makes some men crazy and they talk like fools.
Makes some men crazy and they start to drool.

Well, I journalize all of my builds. Feel free to browse the "DIY Projects" forum. I do believe that roasting a piece of maple stock is not something you can do in your kitchen. Check back on this thread to see how this guitar is progressing. I sprayed the sunburst today and will post photos tomorrow.

I believe you are correct. Kilns are much better than kitchen appliances. Rub on!

Hit it twice with grain-filler and still not flat, but I think I will drop-fill some of the remaining grain with poly.

Actually, I sanded the top back to bare wood last night and re-filled the grain. Will re-spray the burst tonight and will use a darker sienna for the edges and sides to blend it.
I want it darker anyway, more like Jerry's Sienna burst. The Human Torch was denied a bank loan.

I love how the nitro on Telesurfalas changes... sometimes more grainy, sometimes a bit of crazing...
