You'll find the Webers really benefit from a good break-in period. Eminence speakers, to my ears, arrive sort of "pre-broken:" I've had a Red Coat Redfang, a Patriot Red, White & Blues, and a Patriot Swamp Thang, and they all felt ready to go right out of the box, and didn't change tone much at all ass they were used.

Speakers swapped. Subtle difference clean. Slightly less scooped, a lot less shrill and a bit warmer.
The most noticeable difference is with gain. No more harsh fizzy distortion this amp is known for, instead a warmer driven tone with focussed mids. Needs more gain on the drive channel, I guess as there is more clean headroom and the speaker needs breaking in. It's right out the box.

Those Weber speaker are expensive in the UK and hard to get. Plus the only supplier I know if charges 28 shipping! So I went for WGS. It's not broken in yet but it so being much better, I can actually turn the treble past 3 now without shredding my ear drum!

Excellent news, Mike! I can only imagine that it will get better as it gets broken in!
