    has anyone owned a ec standard strat and a custom shop ec one

    I've owned neither but I once played a standard Clapton Strat that I would have given my high teeth for. Sadly, it was already sold. That soft V shaped neck was just killer.

    Me too, I've never owned one, but they are great guitars.

    i own the standard ec ,just wanted to know what the real difference is in the cs one

    so its just a standard ec that has been sprinkled with fairy dust in the custom shop then
