    Default baja neck

    does any one know if theres an epiphone lp with a similar chunky neck to the baja 50s tele ? .thanks

    It has a D shape 50's neck. As close as you're gonna get to a fat Tele neck, although the scale length and nut width will be different on the LP, so I'd seriously suggest you try one out first.

    yes I will thanks only trouble is there discontinued so it will be an ebay search so might take some time to find one in a reasonable distance

    It looks like most of what is available at the big stores now has a slim-taper neck.

    I take it you don't like Joe and his ego? That would be understandable. I can only suspect that Epi has backed away from 50's necks because the majority of their market likes them thin. I will never understand modern large-scale guitar marketing.
