    Default Gregg Allman RIP

Just saw the news this morning. I know we're seeing musicians die all the time, but somehow this one touches me more than most. In the few interview clips I've watched he has always come across as a really sweet guy who didn't seem to make a big deal out of his monster talent. That gravely voice will never leave my mind. RIP.

They were at the center of music for me in the 70's I read his book a year ago and enjoyed it a lot.

    RIP

The Allmans were at the pinnacle of bands in my life. I got to see them a few times and always was blown away by their passion and talent. Rest in peace, brother Gregg.

I read the news today, oh boy.....

Brother Gregg is right, Stan. I'm still thinking about this.

Andy Fuchs posted (on May 21st) on Instagram a picture of a Fuchs ODS 50/25 in tan Tolex with a matching 2x12" cab that had been rented to The Gregg Allman Band for the past 2 years of touring. He said it had just been returned and was now for sale.

Six days later Gregg left the planet.
