    Cool Hi, from Connecticut.

Just a newbie in the last couple of years, learning to play in my retirement. I think I have finally learned to set up my guitar properly and float the tremolo with string action a good percentage under 4/64ths. I have a nice self assembled partscaster from Squier Standard parts and various manufacturers but have my first Fender being shipped as I write this. Also have a couple of Squiers including an SE which I love and which is what prompted me to go ahead and order a Fender.

Hope to learn more from this forum and contribute when I can.

Welcome! I'm one of the new kids myself. And if you learned how to set up a Strat with a nice float and action under 4/64 (just exactly the way I like mine), then you're ready to rock!

Hey, do you know my friend Bill Knell? He's in Connecticut.

(This is a paraphrase of long-standing joke in my family. An uncle was driving from Chicago to LA and stopped for gas at some god-forsaken Last Chance Gas on the way, and the guy there asked him where he was going. "Los Angeles," uncle says. "Oh, "says the station guy, "do you know Murphy? Murphy lives in Los Angeleese.")
