    ...I hesitated because I have an American Standard Strat already, which I am very satisfied with, I decided to list my Dot because I had gotten my hands on 72 Thinline, which is more comfortable, so I don't play the Dot hardly any more, not that it isn't a fine instrument, I just never really bonded with it like I thought I would...I have for some reason become a Tele Freak! I have one standard with no caster51s, a JA 90 Thinline, and the 72 Thinline. I would love to have a tele that's been "Keifed" or a Telecaster Custom with a HB in the neck position.

    One rationale for trading is that it might be easier to sell the Strat for the same price you would ask for the dot.

    I did actually consider that option, then I decided to go ahead and list it with a price.

    I've never really understood that whole "selling a guitar" thing.
