I had one of these on my bench this week. It is a 12-string, and the high G string had this sitar-like buzz at all positions. The action was proper, the nut slots were proper, and so I rounded off the front corner of the saddle at that location. All good. Very interesting guitar. three pickups: a hidden humbucker in the neck, an internal soundboard transducer for acoustic tones, and a lipstick-style bridge pickup. 5-position switch, volume, bass and treble knobs. Electronics are active, so the tone knobs are very effective.
A very well-made guitar, but I have trouble getting a grip on it, since I am not a 12-string player. The Human Torch was denied a bank loan.
