    Default 68 Custom Twin

Has anyone got any experience with this amplifier?, i've been reading some reviews and they come across as very unreliable. I was thinking about changing/upgrading my amp to a twin but these reviews have put me off a wee bit.

I don't own one, but I wouldn't mind owning one! What have you heard about them? I have read nothing but glowing reviews on these monsters.

Watched that vid. Perhaps the '73 Twin had some extra work done on it. After all, it WAS Jackson Browne's amp.

Yeah, I thought that too Mike - must have been tweaked a time or two.

I covet a twin reverb myself, just to have one really (I don't have a need for a twin per se). I'd rarely use it at the volumes it was designed for but it has that unique quality that cannot be replicated with a small amp, even at low volumes.

Plenty of builders around these days too that will build one to proper specs. More costly of course but worth the wait.

Thanks for the replies, the amp I'm refering to is a fairly recent re-issue and I think made in Mexico.

Twins are kinda the definition of headroom!
