    Default Blues junior footswitch

I am considering buying a Blues Junior Tweed Amp, but understand that it does not come with a footswitch for the Fat boost function. I have seen 2 footswitches online, one fender, and another fender compatible at half the price of the fender.

If the non fender has the same component spec should I go for this in preference to the fender one?

It's just a switch. It either works or it doesn't. I'd get the cheaper one.....unless you want the matching Fender for resale value with the amp later on.
I'm a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.
