    Default Jazz bass case

    Hi all,

I wondered if a jazz bass would fit in a strat case (the one that comes with a 2016 elite)?

    Cheers

    Default Jazz bass case

I have a jazz bass and it is much longer than my strat. Unless the elite case is 6 or 7 inches longer than a standard guitar case I would tend to say that it will not fit.

I concur with that one. A Jazz bass is much longer than a Strat.

Don't mess about with inferior cases.

I'd never heard of those Hiscox cases before, but the guy who built my J50 clone really wanted to check one out, so that guitar came to me in a Hiscox case, and wow. Is it ever nice! I know all his guitars will be delivered in a Hiscox case from now on, and I really love mine. Don't be fooled by the appearance: it's many times stronger than, say, an SKB, but still very light and comfortable.

If a baggage handler is going to have one of my guitars, the only way I could rest easy is if it were in a Hiscox case.
