    WOWZA! Phenomenal!
Did I miss the details? What pickups are in this fine, stringed, specimen?

This is a very old set of a little-known pickup by a man named Michael DeTemple. I bought them used about 10 years ago, but he is still in business:

I think that these are as close to a 1950's strat sound as anything I have ever played. And although they are not marketed as a noiseless pickup, they are extremely quiet in the 1,3 and 5 positions and dead silent in 2 and 4

I have to post this update, because I am completely shaken. Scott liked the DeTemple pickups but wanted a more true vintage Strat tone (which I will admit the Detemples don't quite provide), so he visited Curtis Novak's booth at NAMM and bought a set of his pickups. He was happy and impressed (rightfully so, as Curtis is a master of all old pickups from mainstream to obscurity), but he wasn't quite at peace. I told him that Detemple had also started building Strat Trems with titaniunm saddles and blocks. They are very expensive, but Scott tried it anyway. He is completely satisfied, and dropped the guitar off to see what I thought. This is the finest sounding Strat I have ever played in all 5 positions. I am completely blown away. The bridge pickup sounds every bit as sweet as the other 4 positions, and the dynamics and harmonics are better than ever! I always knew Curtis had the basic Fender 50's and 60's pickups nailed, but this Strat set sounds better than any I've ever heard in conjunction with the Detemple Titanium Bridge.
