    Ditto, wood abounds here.

Wow!!! Tele what type of price ranges do you sell your customs for? For my second guitar I was think a Les Paul. Might be a better idea to have you build me one vs giving Gibson close to 3 gr for a product that appears to not be up to standards.

Actually, I'm finishing up my first set-neck LP this week. If it comes out right, I'll float you a price.

OK, so Brian wanted red but one of the guitar photos I sent him had a touch of orange to it and he liked that, so I added a splash of orange to some cardinal red dye and came up with this:

Both Brian and I agreed that was too much orange, so I sprayed more red over it and added a touch of blue and black to "tame" the orange and came up with more of a burnt orange:

So I said, "screw that poop" (or something very much like it) and sanded it all back to wood (just the top) and re-sprayed a sealer coat of poly. Then I sprayed with pure cardinal red, and I'll be damned if it isn't just red-orange! I've never seen a cardinal this color - have any of you??

I must admit that I have had this powdered cardinal red dye for 10 years, so maybe it has broken down somehow. But if it would do that in the bottle, I'm sure it would do the same on a guitar. So I'm going to sand back the top again and spray with some Colortone liquid cherry red from Stew Mac. Sheesh!

Really, I like each of those fine shades! Some of them kinda went towards a Gretschy color, but very nice.
