    Here's a mock-up of the neck inlays:



    Oh, did I mention that the player is a marine biologist researching at the Cape Eleuthera Institute? Eleuthera is a small out island in the Bahamas, relatively undeveloped, which I think is why Lenny Kravitz has a home/studio there. And Owen, the fellow I'm building this for, is in a relationship with a girl who lives next to Lenny and is a good friend. Owen has spent some time with Lenny and his lead player Craig Ross, and their input has helped spec this guitar. Here's hoping they will both be plugging it in in the near future. Pressure is on!
