    Default Sacrilege...yet again!

    Guys,

I'm sorry to be pulling a non Fender move on you again - NOT!

But, seriously, I stumbled on to this clip yesterday while trying to beat jet lag, and I have to say this amp's tone left me totally speechless, and I had to play the clip several times. I don't know how this guy does it, but can he do anything wrong???

    Anyway, I hope you enjoy!

Gorgeous. If I could sell a couple, I would check one out (right here in little old Blacksburg a couple of buddies have one of Suhr's top dealerships). You might be interested in this little beauty as well:

Oh yeah! I've seen demos on it, and initially it seemed exactly what I was after. The problem is the non standard tube types, and I really wanted a 6V/6L type tone. I sent this link to Eric, and he responded saying I should be careful not to judge too quickly, because that tone had a lot to do with the way they were using effects and he thinks the guitar is also double tracked.

Throw a brick at me, but I like only big stuff. I wish not to say that boutique amps are weak, stupid... just I think that they aren't so versatile as their bigger brothers, as I like to get amp that at first has enough gain for hard rock (or more) and then, later, warm, mellow clean channel... my fault, I guess

I hear you...although I'm in the opposite camp!

Still, that clip knocks me out even after several listens. A lot of it is the production and effects, true, but you can hear the voicing of that amp and it is glorious! That John Suhr doesn't put out junk, that's for sure.

That's OK, I understand... and I like also sound from that clips, and I really enjoy by listening slow, mellow music, during writing some letters, programming... when I rather like to listen blues than metal, but I'm addicted at first to these heavy sounds, energetic riffs, and then to something "for oly gang, down in the corner". Kill me, but it's stronger than me...

Man, I hope the lawyers and the IRS don't completely screw him like his manager/lawyer did.
