Default Genz Benz? Or is that off limits?

I'm a Genz Benz owner and just an hoping we can get a forum here even though the brand is effectively dead.

After roughly 30 years in existence there is a huge following and the final owner was FMIC.

    Please?

I think I have heard of that brand, is it German? I know Hughes and Kettner are German
    and Behringer is German designed.

The Black Pearl is the only one I'm familiar with. Pretty versatile amp.

They're american amps (Asian circuit building, usa assembly, cabinet, qa, etc) that are one of the most popular for bassists in NA and their guitar amps were only stated in the last few years but are military design spec tube amps with, some people feel, modern versatile features added onto classic circuit designs.

I own an El Diablo 60/30 guitar combo that is the loudest, most versatile, and least traditional guitar amp I've encountered. This is great for us tweakers , hard for traditionalists to work with.

I love my amp... Fender cleans up to gig volume, triode or pentode operation, el34 or 6L6 power tubes with switch to bias them automatically, 2 channels of active eq, compression and attack and contour controls, extra high gain switch, Marshall style lead channel.

Wow, they do sound like they are very versatile. I have never encountered one yet, I would like to.

No experience with this brand but as Stan said they are still available. Rock on!

Electric guitar amps aren't available any more, so this is a line of amazing tube amps that will have to remain a used market lucky find for those in the know.

Only drawback is that some other famous amps have an instant signature tone that you get no matter what. Easier but less flexible than my Genz Benz el Diablo.

I have played through an El Diablo and a Black Pearl and they are both awesome.

I think that Genz Benz deserves a subforum section dedicated all its own, like the other ones....
