    That is beautiful!
“You know,” said Arthur, “it’s at times like this, when I’m trapped in a Vogon airlock with a man from Betelgeuse, and about to die of asphyxiation in deep space that I really wish I’d listened to what my mother told me when I was young.”
“Why, what did she tell you?”
    “I don’t know, I didn’t listen.”

Thanks Stan, I think it's the stock '52 in the bridge and I put a SD 59 in the neck if memory serves me. The guitar I got from a guy about 70 miles south of me named Roy Bullis who is unfortunately no longer with us. His guitar business was called Onyx Forge and a quick google search will reveal plenty of his custom creations. This just happened to be a 1996 Fender '52RI that he completely worked over including making the neck a 12" radius and fitting it with stainless frets and the brass/bone nut before shooting it with a beautiful amber nitro. I routed the body and put the neck pickup in a couple years ago and it's just one sweet tele. :) It was tough to choose between that one and the G&L.

Mikey, your guitars are looking beautiful, nice job.

Lance, I bought bushings from Roy for years - all of my guitars have them in the necks. When he passed, I offered to help his widow sell his inventory. She thanked me but never took me up on it. I assume the neck on yours has the same bushings?

Yes Mike, this guitar is where I learned about his bushing idea (pretty simple really eh?). Roy showed me that deal at his house when I was buying it... I took notice and purchased the materials to do it to all of my bolt-on guitars, it's just a better way. McMaster-Carr has what you need for dirt cheap if you don't already have a supply.

You're reading too much gear hype Tarek. A Pine Tele doesn't sound any different than Alder or anything else... This is just my opinion but I haven't seen (or more importantly heard) any evidence to convince me otherwise.

Here's mine. Aronson Custom T; swamp ash body; roasted birdseye maple neck with super soft V contour; JR Kohler cold-rolled steel saddles; Harmonic Design Z-90 pickups; which all translates (to me at least) into 6-string nirvana:

    And from the other angle:

And if you are interested in the process of her creation (as well as a sound snippet) you can find that here:

I would have to put the same PU's in my others to make a judgement/comparison call. It just plays and sounds so good it's my " Most Precious " and at 6.2 Lbs comfortable all night long.

    Hi all!

    Here is my Tele,

A 54 Telecaster with a Tadeo Gomez neck.
    Joe Barden pickups.
The compensated brass and spring are new but I kept the originals.
A perfect set up by a 40 years experience pro.
The most addictive guitar I ever had!

    Best regards,
