Thumbs up The Live Pics Thread!

Although I have tons of live pics myself (having discovered long ago that if I did not get photos, recollection of specific gigs often faded fast, and blended in with all the other gigs), the intent of this thread is not to just present my onstage photos, but for everyone to do so! As much as I enjoy "family photos" of just guitars and gear, for me it's a lot more fun to see gear actually being used.

So let's see some live pics! It can be from a jam session on your back porch, or a local club, or from your last world tour! Whatever ya got. Even church.

    ;)

If you're in between bands or have retired from gigging, dig into the vaults!

    Here's a few from me.

This is a side roots rock band I used to be in, Hoyt & the HotHeads:

Another side band, more recently, Pedagogy. This was my first show after throat cancer treatments and I was pretty weak and quite skinny. The bassiste is my daughter Hannah:

This is Smart Bomb, the first band I fronted, back in the early '90's:

This is an earlier version of my current main band, Crash Pad, playing during a hurricane warning, and on Friday the 13th!

    Show and tell!

This is me howling on the left side of the pic, from a recent church gig. We've got a pretty big stage.

Some contend that rock 'n roll is bad for the body & bad for the soul
Bad for the heart, bad for the mind, bad for the deaf & bad for the blind.
It makes some men crazy and they talk like fools.
Makes some men crazy and they start to drool.

Thanks Keb! I'm guessing the Strat in the second shot is a Classic Vibe? What's the semi/hollow in the first pic?

SA: man I WISH we had a proper place to play at my church. We used to be stuck up in the choir loft, believe it or not. They moved us up front, but it's a '60's church predating modern music, and there's no room at all.

The one exception is our monthly Saturday Night Praise services, then we get to take over:

On stage at the Café Wha? in 1967

"But I don't want to go among mad people" Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat, "We're all mad here 'n stuff."

OK, I'll play too. Hiya Brian - I've seen you over on Axe-Talk for some time. It took me a while to register that your being here was actually something new. Welcome to FT!

Here's my last formal band - the Lesser Prophets:

A benefit last year with some friends:

    A friend's annual birthday jam:

...and finally a couple of weeks ago with some new friends from all over the country at a week-long jam session/ski trip:
There is none so blind as he that cannot see...
