    Default OD's

I have pretty much zoned into my two Barber pedals and my Radial Texas Bones pedal. I have boxed up all other OD's.

Well, alrighty then! I'm using a Keeley-modified Voodoo Lab Sparkle Drive, and then various patches I've put together in my Line6 Pod XT Live. That's my usual set up for the last many months.

But then, occasionally I'll go retro and plug into this beast.

Stan! How do you like the Keeley modded Sparkle Drive? I have a stock one and about to pick up a second one, thinking I might get it modded. I'm also using a Route 66 and a Jam Pedals Tube dreamer '72.

Dude! I really like the Sparkle Drive, it has that ability to produce a nice, dynamic overdrive and gives you the opportunity to mix in as much of the original clean tone that you want. I can't tell you much about Keeley's mod to it, since this one is the only one I've ever played and haven't had a chance to compare it to a stock version. But what I got, I like.

OD Update 774: This never ends. For the last few weeks, I have inserted a good old Digitech Screamin' Blues into the sequence. And yesterday, that one came out and my trusty old Visual Sound Route 66 went in there. Yeah, change is good.

Yeah, scratch my opening comment. I love those pedals but I am still mixing it up. I am getting an awesome sound from my 59 Bassman and the Barber LTD with my Carl Martin Red Repeat all running. Very cool.
