    Sorry, man... no experience here~ I have used a little zoom 4 input recorder about as big as a wallet, and was amazed at how well it worked, though!!

    Yeah, I've never played with one on those either. Sorry, no help here!

    Lot's of great units out there and I'm sure this one is no exception. The trick is learning how to use it!

    OK...I know its waaaay to late to respond to this thread, but I just wanted to put it out there. I had a Zoom R8 as an interface for a while, and its instability frustrated me so much that I had to sell it eventually. It would crash randomly in the middle of recording, or it wouldn't come up when the computer was booted (and rebooted) and updated drivers were extremely hard to get. When I finally got rid of it for next to nothing, and got a Steinberg UR22, I began to breathe easier - not a single glitch in about six months. Whew!!!!
