    Doesnt compare to any of todays technology,
    but it was my first pedal and pretty cool in 1972 (:

    Barber's pedals are a welcome departure from Tube Screamer tones.

    These are expensive and there are so many features that a tweaker will be ecstatic. I'm not really a tweaker, but I have to say that these folks have definitely raised the bar. The sounds and tones are un-freaking-believable.

    Cheap substitution for HM players instead Mesa, Soldano, Bogner... muscle amps. The term "cheap" is relative vs price of amps.
