    Default Lonely Strat

Me playing the only fender guitar I've ever owned. I was always a gibson fan, but the strat has become #1. I'm thinkin' a Tele will be next.

The english language, when crafted in masterful prose, can bring a grown man to tears and shake us to our core. We also like Strats and Teles.

One's enough, and a good start. My wife is always reminding me that I can only play one at a time.

I always go back to my Strat no matter what it's a part of me. I recently picked up a 1989 Korean made Epiphone Les Paul and this guitar has a sole it's something special and I have never bonded with a L/P like I have with this one. It came with Some of the first pearly gates wound by a woman called M.J. I guess she is some type of celebrity at Duncan. It has an open book head stock like a Gibson and they only made them like this in 89 and part of 90 I never came across one before and had to buy it. I got it for $250 and has a beautiful flamed tobacco burst top. I am always on Craig's list and like I said never seen one of these before, two weeks later it's twin shows up and I got that one for $200 that one is a story all it's own but another real nice top and great guitar. Anyway I can't put this guitar away and actually find myself feeling bad for my Strat sitting in the stand. My wife laughs at me because I'm full of guilt over the not playing my Strat.

My taste for tone runs in cycles so I play all brands. I was strictly Gibson for many years but the sound of a Strat can definitely stir your emotions.

I concur with Mr. Doug here. I went down that same road, many years of Gibsons, followed by years of Strats, and then discovered Telecasters. Now I just rotate the stock and try to keep 'em all happy!
