    Default Check these out!

These are for sale on our local online auction site, and gettable
    for NZ $165.

Solid Alder, Sealed machine heads and 1 5/8" nut width with
    laquered maple fretboards.

The same specs as my SX Strat but with better tuners, and
abalone inlays and less than half the price.

I'm buying one, probably two at this price.

What do you guys think about these cheap asian knock offs.
Made in Korea too, not China.

"Cheap Asian knockoffs" really aren't what they used to be, which is "cheap" in the sense of "low quality". Manufacturing capabilities and quality control have improved by leaps and bounds since back in the day. It's now possible, and even likely, to find good instruments coming from countries that once were considered backwaters. Remember, "Made in Japan" used to be synonymous with "crap" - talk to Ajay about the quality of Japanese guitars now. These other countries (Korea, China, Indonesia, etc.) are simply following the same path, just a few years behind the curve. Of course, once they start becoming known for consistent quality, the prices are sure to go up.

Get 'em now for cheap while you still can, I say.

No, I think I'll give them a miss. The tuners and pups will need replacing.

    I've found something better (C:
