Default Anyone ever heard of an MB-5?

A little research on Harmony Central says it's a Japanese
    made by Fender.

I have one of the original Squire Strats that I bought in
1989 and it's still one of my favs. But this MB-5 is a
    5-string bass.

Saw one for sale on Craigslist, and was just curious if
any of you ever heard of this, or maybe own one
    yourself?

This one has some skinned body from strap wear
but hey, they want $100. Would it be worth
    a century? even for collectors?

    Just curious...

I've never heard of one of those myself, but Squire basses are certainly not my specialty.

I'm inclined to agree with Teleman77. Sounds like a decent deal to me.

But I gotta wonder - what the heck was their strap made of to wear that much paint away - emery cloth?
