    Default Leo Quotes

These are 4 supposed quotes made by Leo Fender.
I have no way to verify them however.

    1) The design of each element should be thought out in order to be easy to make and easy to repair.

    2) If something is easy to repair, it is easy to construct.

    3) I wonder if I could make an electric bass.

    4) Let there be bass.

    5) Should have stopped when I realized the Telecaster was true perfection. Who in their right minds would want this stRAT thing ???

(sorry...made that last one up) :D

I can see Leo saying that!
Some contend that rock 'n roll is bad for the body & bad for the soul
Bad for the heart, bad for the mind, bad for the deaf & bad for the blind.
It makes some men crazy and they talk like fools.
Makes some men crazy and they start to drool.

You don't see Stevie Ray Vaughn playing Texas Flood on a Telecaster, now do you?
Get all excited and go to a yawning festival.

Recently dead, as Igor would say.

He's a little more than mostly dead!

“I was always able to see the defects in the design of an instrument which overlooked completely the need of its maintenance.”
