I tried to restring the guitar last night, and 2 (not 1, but 2) of the tuning pegs wouldn't tune. It just kept turning over and over. I took it back today to get them fixed, and the guy said they wouldn't be able to do it before christmas.. I dunno why, but anyway. The guy said for an extra $150, I could get an Epiphone EL-00 and a set of strings because of the hassle, so I jumped on it. So here is my sisters new christmas present..

Very nice acoustic (especially for the cheap price he gave me it for). Solid Sitka Spruce top.. Mahogany back and sides. Mahogany Neck. Grover Tuners. Very nice upgrade.

Cool, I played a couple of Epi acoustics the other day, they sound pretty decent. Nice of you to do that for your sis.

After the hassles you have had, I would have gone somewhere else and bought a Maton...

I'm hoping one of those will show up under the tree for me

And thanks guys, she is in love the with Gibson version of that guitar. Obviously I can't afford that, but she doesn't know I swapped it over.. Hopefully it will be a pleasant surprise :D

    Interesting purchase I just made.

Won a nintendo DS last year in some raffle (I think.. I can't even remember) and I have never used it. I literally took it out of the box yesterday lol. Anyway, my cousin wanted a DS game for christmas, so I went out shopping and walked away with that (for myself haha).

It's actually very fun to play with. I'm guessing I could hook it up to a PA or something, because of the headphone out on the DS.
