That was the first thing I thought of too...

"But I don't want to go among mad people" Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat, "We're all mad here 'n stuff."

OK, I confess - that's where I got the idea too. One of my favorite albums.

Well, that's two projects for the future then....

Actually, how about a Dafne Blue Thinline?

It would fit with the blue theme wouldn't it? Never been all that fond of the pastel colors though. And if I got a Thinline I'd have to go in & paint the inside of that F-hole black or something. That plain wood showing through just makes the guitar look unfinished (no pun intended).

Hey guys, check out my latest score:

A couple of months ago, my brother and sis-in-law came over to my house for the first time (they live out in Eastern Washington State, the armpit of the Pacific Northwest). SIL and I were sitting around plonking on my guitars when she commented on how nice it felt to play my St.Rat compared to how clumsy & heavy her Flying V was (which I didn't even know she had). So I offered to trade her my black Squier St.Rat, once I put in a new set of pups (I'd cannibalized it for my Bullet conversion project).

It obviously needs a good cleaning and setup, and the pots are scratchy as hell, but it sounded pretty sweet when I plugged it in upon arriving home today. I may even keep the stock pups.
