    Catphones are nice...

Some contend that rock 'n roll is bad for the body & bad for the soul
Bad for the heart, bad for the mind, bad for the deaf & bad for the blind.

I use an SHO for a solo boost. Where the crackle is good!

Apologies for raising an old thread but I recently came across this video demo of the latest incarnation of the SD Pickup Booster (+ other SD pedals).

I have to say from the off, I'm not a fan of the two guys in the video so it's best started from the 3 minute mark to cut out some of the crapola.

However, that said, the sound of the Pickup Booster in this vid made me add one to my pedalboard recently and I'm having a lot of fun with it.

I think Stan's original comment about needing even lower boost has been answered with this upgraded version of the pedal (0 to 25 db range) and overall I cannot fault it.

Josh Smith taped a video with that guy yesterday.

I'm booked to see Josh play in London on Thursday night. Seems like such a nice guy. Can't wait!

He's a great guy. I took him and Kirk Fletcher out to dinner and we had a great time - talked up a storm! You will definitely enjoy his set, and if you get a chance to speak to him, give him my best! (I bet if you wear your Aronson Custom Guitars shirt he'll get a kick out of it).

I'll see what I can do.

And talking of getting a kick out of it - the club is part of the Chelsea Football Club Stadium complex but quite an intimate venue (you can spin the main pic through 360):

I've had the Boosta Grande for quite awhile. Works great, quiet as far as adding extraneous noise to the signal chain. Seems to be built like a tank. The size doesn't bother me but may for some with a crowded board. The EP Exotic Boost is really popular.
Whether you think you can...or you can't...you're right!

Some mistakes are just too much fun to only make once!!!
