Default Some guitars just have it!!!

Last summer...I bought a san dimas jackson u.s.a. str*t shape guitar configured in H-S Kahler. Maple/Maple 22 fret pointy headstock.

I'd owned one prior to this one(only in h-h) and it had the same mojo. Just something about it. Lightning fast neck, silky smooth. Quite resonant w/o the amp and just a terrific guitar to play!

I dropped it off to my tech a few weeks ago for the magic wand treatment(fret level etc) got it back yesterday along with my jack butler clone. My eric johnson fender strat arrived as well. I think I played the blue beast more than the other two! Can't seem to put it down.

Do you own a guitar like this? One that tops the rest? My Red Charvel was close...but for some reason, doesn't cling to me like this one does.

Not sure if I have enough posts for a pic yet. The axe is a nice blue(electric maybe) with a black kahler, and a zebra jb in the back.

My G&L invader comes pretty close. It's got a Kahler trem, fast neck s/s/h and the output on both the singles is strong and resonant. I bought it new in 1987 and just can't sell it. While I'm not playing it nearly as much as my strats these days(they're new) I do take it out and still am amazed at what a great guitar it is. I had it out last night after I got of shift and played it until 3a.m.. :morning:

Ya, my gretsch does that, but then again it's basically the only guitar I own and play...

I know this is The Fender-Talk, but my '76 Gibson Les Paul does that for me. Maybe it's the uncounted gigs I did with him, or the thousands of hours we've spent together, or the many hours of tweaking and changing I've done on that plank, but we just know each other inside out. 8)

The only Strat-style guitars my brother plays are copies.
He's got a USA Hamer with upgraded (Fender, i believe) pups.
He also plays an old Charvette by Charvel that features a Duncan Screamin' Demon on the bridge and a pair of lace sensors...

I don't know why he doesn't just start out with a Fender, as he obviously loves the Fender look & sound.

While I'm not a real Charvel fan, they are good guitars. And the USA Hamers are very good guitars, I don't own one, but I've played some great ones. With that said, your bro needs to try a real Fender and get with the program! 8)

I just bought another Cort..... I know I know, not very popular etc...... but

I can't fault this one for the price, and it did get a 5 star rating in the UK Guitarist
    magazine.

And I could see it being played by a kiwi player in a band on YouTube (you can
see it in my post in Send In The Clones)

Ever heard of Mighty Mite pickups?

This guitar has a set of Zebra humbuckers, high output and they sound
    great.

I'm now set for Stratty toned Blues, Tele Country, Les Paul slide shenanigans and Cort Rock
but my SX Strat will always be my main squeeze.

Mine's the Black Beauty partscaster I assembled.
Whether you think you can...or you can't...you're right!

Some mistakes are just too much fun to only make once!!!
