I also used to like the old school drag racing. I too had the orange track Snake and Mongoose Hot Wheels set. Those were my favorite cars because you could lift the body of the car and it had the roll cage and engine underneath. I still have the base of the car, but the white body has been gone for years. Used to also love Hot Rod Cartoons magazine in the early 70s.

I used to race, many years ago, myself (drag, road, and motorcycles) and understand the danger involved. It's very sad when we see anyone lose their lives while pursuing their passion for the sport.

That's a cool video. I made one and sent it to my friend. I put his name on it though and sent it to my email address, then I copied the video link and sent him the link. This is incase they do send emails.

Does anybody know how I can copy and save the video I made?

Because I know this link will be down later on in the future.

Every time I try to get out... they drag me back in.

Got a gig this Fri. night with a couple old bandmates and an additional keyboard player (2 keyboards, drums and me on guitar). The last time I played electric out was with these guys about a year ago (I had a couple pics posted but they went down with the great spam flood of 2008). Anyway, God told me I had to play "All Night Long" by Joe Walsh so I've been feverishly working on it for a week or so. I'm posting a link to a youtube vid of a live version from '83. I'm just smitten with the petit blond singing backup vocals. Beautiful and what a friggin' voice! Do any of you guys know who she is? I don't care if she's 60 now, I want her. If I can't have Jennifer Warnes I want her.

    Signed, Crazy old coot.
