Well, actually I bought a tux when I went on a cruise a couple years ago. But the shirt's collar is yellowed too bad, so I just need to get a new shirt.

What a weekend in big Shiner Texas. I'm back at the fire station. It was quite a busy weekend. I am wiped out!! The wedding, rehearsal dinner, and reception were all great. Before the wedding was a different story. My wife, her sisters, and my daughters friends were decorating, putting the flowers together, arguing, stressing out, all that fun stuff, so me and my father- in- law sneeked on over to the Shiner Brewery for some complimentary brews. (hey, someone had to do it). Yes, I was in the dog house, but not for long. I had to get up and do speeches and toasts twice. I was nervous, but I found some good material on the good old internet. It was great. I had the crowd in the palm of my hands. Anyway everything is done. It went well. My daughter, Kirsten is now a married woman, and I'm very proud of her.

Thanks T-dub. Yeah, the worst thing that happened (besides a few minor female squabbles, unavoidable as they are) was when my wife was making the bouquet for my daughter. She tipped it over and about half the flowers fell out. I thought she was gonna completely lose it at that point. But she kept her cool, for the most part, regrouped and rebuilt it with some serious flower stem reinforcement. So, we were pretty lucky. Everything went good.

Good deal Firedude. I think your move to the Brewery was a wise one. 8)

Yep, Shiner Bock. Good stuff. I don't know if any of you have heard of it. The girl at the brewery said it's in 39 states so far. It was just what I needed.

Back at the old fire station. Already had a car fire. Well I had to get caught up with yard work yesterday, it was brutal. Then, last night after doing my night time Fendertalking, watching the news, surfing the web, while the girls were already asleep, I almost stepped on a scorpion. Yes I was barefoot, walking into our master bathroom. Man, I hate those things. I'ts a good thing I found it instead of my wife finding it early in the morning before I got up. She would have freaked. So I guess I have FenderTalk to thank for saving my wife a near hear-attack.
