That one's easy, I've watched the X Files...

But "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'!" 45 years of continuous playing! Man, that means that somewhere in the world, all the time, and sometimes on several stations at once, that one was playin'! Sheesh, I should have told them to include me in the writing credits on that one!

No poop, that's from the BMI archives. Seems like Spector would have had better things to do than kill a chick.

The only way it seems possible is that there are sooo many radio stations and many of them were playing it simultainiously.

Back in 1956 recording artist Johnny Mathis was forced to make the decision between trying out for the United States Olympic team (his specialty was track) or recording his first album for Columbia Records. He chose the latter and went on to become the eighth biggest selling album artist of all time. His 1958 album, Johnny's Greatest Hits, was the first Greatest Hits album ever marketed, spending three weeks at #1 and 490 consecutive weeks on Billboard?s Pop Album chart (that?s almost 9 years!).

See Johnny run, run Johnny run.

 Wow Teleman, I never thought about that. Now I feel bad. I'll stay away from the music trivia stuff. I guess I didn't contemplate the music part of the "Useless Trivia" thread. I will refrain from posting any music oriented trivia here from now on. Besides, that stuff isn't really "Useless" to us! Rock on Teleman! 8)
