My son and I have both been into these cars for awhile.

He will be 31 this summer, and has had this car since he was 15....
He has done some SCCA closed circuit racing with it.

We lined these up for a group shot.....

Man, if I had the money (and time) I'd be into some SCCA racing. Just the autocrossing was a blast. I had a Miata for a while, but had to get rid of it. Dang, that would have been a great road racer.

Decided to update the family portrait.

Still have the Peavey Express 112 and the Drive CD300 Amps.
    Added the Peavey Transformer 212.
Put an amp stand under the Transformer. Makes it alot easier to get to the controls.

Tele and Kay are still there.
    Added the Yamaha acoustic/electric.

Cool stuff RW. How's that Kay SG knockoff play? I've got an old Athena SG copy with a Bigsby that is one of the nicest players I've ever had.

    I love the Kay.
If it were just a bit louder, it would have a non amplified tone almost as nice as an acoustic.

I change the amount of time every time I talk about it, but I have owned it aprox 20 years (give or take).
My brother-in-law bought it new it 1969.

Not only does it hold sentimental value, but it is a plain out fun guitar.
I actually pick it up more often than my Tele.

To think, about 2 years ago, I started out with just the Kay, which had been in my closet for many years. Not even an amp.

    Yep...still have them.
Fun little cars, until you have to work on them.
Then, you better either be mechanically inclined, or be willing to pay out some big bucks to a mechanic.
